Sprinkle, Sparkle, and Glow

A run in the garden sprinklers is always blast for my littles as we move into warmer days. It has been a while since we let them, so a couple of them got caught a little bit off guard!

I really wanted to get some pictures of the water dripping off of the cherries on our tree...but I wasn't about to run out there while the sprinklers were still on! I waited until they were turned off and got a couple of shots...they are ALMOST ready...just another day or two!!

The sparkle of droplets on our pink Dianthus caught my eye and I snapped this...oh look at all the sparkly bokeh!!

I ran to get one of my macro lenses, but by the time I got back (read waylayed by sopping kiddos demanding snacks) most of the pretty sparklies had dried up. I did get a really cool shot though...looks like a super cool tye-dye!

One of my favorite things to take pictures of are Golden Poppies...they seriously just GLOW when they catch the setting sun...just so lovely...so here are the first of the year from this afternoon :D ...

The last one is definitely my favorite of the day...it came out so dreamy!!
